Decca Breakfasts feature local products from the surrounding Ness area. These include fresh free range eggs from a croft across the machair in Fivepenny, Marag Dubh (black pudding) and gluten free sausages made by the butcher in Cross and, if requested in advance, the very special Decca vegetarian black pudding!

We make our own bread, oatcakes and preserves and carry a selection of gluten- and dairy-free products. We will work to cater for your own particular dietary needs and preferences.

Decca guests

We have a large dining room and a comfortable guest lounge area with lots of books, games and DVDs as well as maps and information about the area. The eating area has several small tables that can be joined together for larger groups.

Packed lunches are available for £8 for two sandwiches, a cake or biscuit, a piece of fruit and a drink. Please try to order the night before so we can be sure to have made enough  fresh bread for the sandwiches.

"Perfect in every way. What a cracking place to stay whilst cycling the Hebridean Way. Louise and Pete were very welcoming of my cousin and I. The room itself was warm, cosy with thick duvets and a jacuzzi bath for sore muscles. Zoe and Elaine, Fife August 2017

"Amazing hospitality! Great room, home made soaps and a comfortable bed. Great food and fabulous hosts! Thoroughly recommend! Stayed with family and enjoyed an evening meal and great music! The breakfast was fantastic too. The communal sitting room was huge and very comfortable". Morgan S August 2017

"Stayed at The Decca this weekend and it was great. Pete & Louise are fantastic hosts. It's not like staying in a hotel and more like staying with friends or family. They have a great laid back manner and allow you to treat their lovely home like it's your own. They are in the most beautiful location, close to the Butt of Lewis lighthouse and a gorgeous little harbour. It's ideally situated for walking, cycling and just generally getting away from everything. I hope I can get back for a visit soon!"Deb,  Belshill, July 2017
